What is the Gilbreath-Reed Career & Technical Center Finance Lab?<\/h2>\n\n

The Gilbreath-Reed Career and Technical Center (GRCTC) Finance Lab is a state of the art career center employing the most significant and up-to-date hardware, software and financial classes available.<\/p>\n

Students join a growing group of like-minded young men and women interested in earning financial degrees that will set them apart from their peers.<\/p>\n

All classes aim to meet rigorous class objectives, including investment competitions, interactive saving and investing scenarios. Students are expected to actively manage an investment portfolio of stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, commodities, and more.<\/p>\n

There are also class rankings showing student’s portfolio performance compared to the rest of the class, and world-class investment research tools built right into the platform.<\/p>\n\n
