Students will now be competing for $900 in cash prizes. The challenge\u2019s top 10 student winners will be awarded as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Prize = $500<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Prize = $300<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;Prize = $100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners will be determined based on their overall positive portfolio performance, following the rules, and timely completion of the built-in Personal Finance curriculum.&nbsp; See the Official Rules Below. Click the button below to register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stocktrak.com\/members\/register?session=UWECHS-StockMarketChallenge\">Click Here To Register<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Official Rules<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The challenge is free and open to all students currently enrolled at a high school in the State of Wisconsin for the Spring <strong>2024<\/strong> term.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students may only enter once with an active high school State of Wisconsin email address and proof of enrollment if declared a winner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration opens<strong>\u00a0Monday,  February 19<strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/strong>, 2024<\/strong>, and closes <strong>February <strong><strong>26<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/strong>, 2024<\/strong> at 11:59 PM ET. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The competition begins&nbsp;<strong>Monday, February 26<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024<\/strong>, and will run through 11:59 PM ET on&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;April <strong>26<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>&nbsp;, 2024.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will start with a $100,000 in virtual cash. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students can trade U.S. stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and bonds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum Stock Price is $5 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be a position limit enforced so students cannot invest more than 10% of their money in any one security.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All participants will be required to use the website\u2019s trade journal feature to document their decisions for making their trades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Day trading, short selling and buying on margin are NOT allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be declared a winner, participants MUST\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a positive portfolio return of greater than their $100,000 beginning cash balance provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Placed a minimum of 40 trades during the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have placed trades in February, March, and April.
