The Smart Indiana Stock Market Programs are engaging, real world competitions that advance students’ academic achievement in the core disciplines and enhance understanding of economics, personal finance, and investing among learners.
The Fall and Spring Simulations provide the “classic” simulation experience. Students manage their portfolios for a ten week period. They are able to compare their portfolio performance to other student portfolios across the state and region. Registration: August 12, 2026 – October 2, 2026
Trading: September 21, 2026 – December 4, 2026
Spring Stock Market Simulation
Registration: December 21, 2026 – February 12, 2027
Trading: January 25, 2027 – April 9, 2027

Custom Stock Market Simulation
Teachers now have the capability to customize the simulation to better align to classroom schedules and instructional objectives.
Choose this option if you want to select your own session dates; or investing options (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, cryto-currency); or even add international exchanges. Contact (Jeff Sanson) to determine if a customized simulation is right for your class.
