Who we are:

The Smart Indiana Stock Market Program is a program of the Indiana Council for Economic Education.  The Indiana Council for Economic Education (ICEE) is an academic outreach center within the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University.  The ICEE serves as the lead unit in an eleven-institution state network of university centers for economic education.  The Indiana Council for Economic Education’s network of University Centers for Economic Education includes: Ball State University, IPFW, Indiana State University, IU East, IU Kokomo, IU Northwest, IUPUI, IU Southeast, IU South Bend, Purdue University, and the University of Southern Indiana.  Both the ICEE and the university centers are also affiliated with the national Council for Economic Education.

We partner with a number of institutions from across Indiana to provide services to thousands of teachers and K-12 students in every area in Indiana.

What are the Sponsorship Opportunities?

  • Support the general efforts to promote economic and financial literacy in Indiana. For a comprehensive list of initiatives, trainings, and events, visit econed-in.org.
  • Sponsor licensing fees for Indiana $10,000.
  • Sponsor your county $1,000 for each smaller county. This includes trainings.
  • Sponsor a larger Indiana County $3,000 (Allen, Lake, Marion, Warrick)

(County sponsors include trainings for teachers, and gives students access to the programs.)

  • Regional Award Sponsorships ($500, $375, $250, $125)
  • Statewide Award Sponsorships ($1,000 per division for essay competition, and infographic competition.)
