Welcome Teachers and Students!
The College of Business at Prairie View A&M University hosts annual high school stock challenge. This competition is conducted 100% online on PVAMU’s virtual trading platform (pvamutrading.stocktrak.com). This challenge is open to high school teams in the greater Houston area. Each team should consist of three to four 10th to 12th-grade students. A faculty advisor (teacher or counselor) per high school is needed as well for teams to compete in the competition. There is a limit of six teams per high school. Each team will have $500,000 virtual dollars to invest in stocks and Exchanged Traded Funds (ETFs). The top three teams with the highest portfolio returns at the end of the challenge will receive $1,000, $800 and $500 respectively. Each participated student will be invited to the Young Investor Symposium in conjunction with the Award Ceremony where winning teams will receive trophy and prize.
