PVAMU TRADING ROOM

Prairie View A&M University Trading Room was established in 2016 to offer students an opportunity to gain hands-on learning using advanced technology.

The trading room is a state-of-the-art computer lab that contains sophistical financial software for historical and real-time market.  Bloomberg Terminals provide access to various financial data and analytics.  Students can obtain a certificate by completing Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC). A virtual Trading Platform (StockTrak) allows students to make simulated investments to gain hands-on trading experiences. College of Business hosts an annual simulated trading challenge for university students and high school teams.

THE TRADING ROOM FACILITY
The Trading Room is located on the first floor of the Agriculture and Business Multipurpose Building and will accommodate a maximum class-size of 42 students.
The Room is equipped with:

• 9 dual-screen Bloomberg workstations
• LED Stock Ticker display within the room 
• Three large rear-projection screen displays and two side screens
• An instructor workstation equipped to control the projection screens and includes a document camera, DVD/VHS player, and related auxiliary video/computer inputs
